# Table looks

Six looks for the table, chairs, clock, pieces and demo board: wood, marble, ebony, metal, glass and neon.

Every prop of a table comes in six looks: the table, its chairs, the chess clock, all twelve pieces, and the easel with the demo board beside it.

## Giving a table a look

A table of `Config.Tables` gets one with `skin`:

```lua
Config.Tables = {
    { coords = vector3(191.93, -931.42, 30.69), heading = 144.0 },                    -- wood
    { coords = vector3(195.10, -935.20, 30.69), heading = 144.0, skin = 'marble' },
}
```

In game, `/chess_place marble` (or `ebony`, `metal`, `glass`, `neon`) puts up a table in that look. It is kept in `tables.json` with the others. A demo board standing beside a table is in the table's look as well.

`Config.TableSkins` lists the looks there are besides the plain wood:

```lua
Config.TableSkins = { 'marble', 'ebony', 'metal', 'glass', 'neon' }
```

The models are in `stream/` beside the plain ones (`chess_table_marble`, `chess_w_pawn_neon` ...), each look with an archetype file of its own (`chess_marble.ytyp` ... `chess_neon.ytyp`). The easel in every look is in `chess_easel.ytyp`.

Tables put up with the table item are always in the plain wood.
