# Promo Van

The Lost Treasure Promo Van, an add-on vehicle with a Lost Treasure livery and an animated roof sign.

The Lost Treasure Promo Van is a separate resource, `lt_promovan`. It adds one vehicle: a van with a Lost Treasure livery and a lit roof sign. It does not need the slot machine to run, and the slot machine does not need the van.

|              |                         |
| ------------ | ----------------------- |
| Resource     | `lt_promovan`           |
| Spawn name   | `lt_promovan`           |
| Name in game | Lost Treasure Promo Van |
| Class        | Van                     |

## Installation

1. Put the `lt_promovan` folder into your `resources` folder. See [Installation basics](/organized-chaos-docs/installation-basics.md) for the download and the licence key.
2. Add it to your `server.cfg`:

   ```cfg
   ensure lt_promovan
   ```
3. Restart the server.

There are no dependencies and nothing to configure.

{% hint style="info" %}
The van uses the handling of the Youga Custom, so the server needs a game build that includes that vehicle: `sv_enforceGameBuild 2699` or newer.
{% endhint %}

## Spawning it

Use the spawn name `lt_promovan` wherever your server spawns vehicles: an admin menu, a `/car lt_promovan` command, or an entry in your vehicle shop or garage script.

## Liveries

| Livery | Look                                 |
| ------ | ------------------------------------ |
| 1      | The Lost Treasure wrap               |
| 2      | Plain paint                          |
| 3 | The stock livery of the base vehicle |

Change it in any tuning menu, or from a script. Scripts count from 0:

```lua
SetVehicleLivery(vehicle, 0)   -- 0, 1 or 2
```

## The roof sign

The roof sign is extra 1 and is on when the van spawns. Switch it in a tuning menu that offers extras, or from a script:

```lua
SetVehicleExtra(vehicle, 1, false)   -- false shows the sign, true hides it
```

Near a van the face of the sign is animated: four reels spin. From further away it shows a still picture, and the animation is paused, so it costs nothing while nobody can see it.

If the sign stays on its still picture up close, look at the client console (F8). A line starting with `[lt_promovan]` says that the sign page did not load.
